Position OverviewUnder direct supervision, for a period of six to twelve months, travels to receive classroom and on-the-job training in performing on-site examinations of corporate fiduciaries for the purpose of determining their financial condition, safety and soundness, compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Evaluates the corporate fiduciaries’ management, operations, internal controls and auditing, earnings, compliance, and asset management. Travels extensively to assigned facilities for examinations.

- Requires possession of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or banking; or a master’s degree in business administration.
- Prefers at least three years of experience in a bank or financial institution
- Prefers experience in information technology, computer science, or similar field
- Prefers at least 2 years of experience with technology used within financial institutions (internal operations core network systems)
- Prefers knowledge of state and/or federal laws governing the financial industry
- Prefers at least 3 years of experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting examination/audit information
- Prefers at least two years of auditing experience
- Prefers experience as intermediary or liaison to 3rd party risk management auditing services
- Ability to pass an agency background check
- Ability to travel frequently and extensively, both in-state and out-of-state
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Compliance with revolving door restrictions and required Statements of Economic Interest as applicable
- The agency complies with the Illinois Equal Pay Act; wage history should not be included in applications
