Senior Fund Accounting Associate — NAV Close, Valuation & Growth

A well-regarded alternative asset manager is looking to add a Senior Associate to its Fund Accounting team. The firm runs a range of alternative investment strategies and has a strong institutional reputation built over many years.

This is a hands‑on accounting role with broad exposure across fund operations, reporting, and portfolio finance. The individual will work closely with internal teams and external counter parties and is expected to grow quickly within the function.

• Support day‑to‑day fund accounting and management reporting.
• Assist with the monthly NAV close process in coordination with external administrators.
• Contribute to investment valuation processes and internal reporting cycles.
• Help manage audit and tax requests at interim and year‑end.
• Assist with regulatory filings and ad hoc reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Support the trading desk on select transaction activity.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting infrastructure.

• 2 to 6 years of experience in public accounting, with financial services exposure preferred.
• CPA preferred but not required; in‑house asset management experience will also be considered.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Comfortable with valuation concepts across a range of asset classes.
• Strong Excel skills; fund administration system exposure a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
