ABOUT THE ROLE:The Commercial / Consumer / Agricultural Loan Processor is responsible for preparing and processing loan documentation for commercial, consumer, and agricultural loan requests in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with lenders and Relationship Manager Associates (RMAs) to ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and properly documented prior to closing and booking.
You will:
This is an on‑site position working 40 hours per week, working Monday - Friday.
Work is done in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels and temperatures. Requires the ability to operate all types of typical electronic office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines and scanners. Primarily a sedentary position, but requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, stretching, stooping and manual dexterity using hands and fingers (for computer keyboard operation). Requires ability for extensive reading and viewing of paper documents and computer screens.
REQUIREMENTS- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing, loan operations, documentation preparation, or related banking experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial, agricultural, and consumer loan documentation strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and collateral requirements.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements related to lending.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with lenders, RMAs, and operations staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and banking software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
