Senior Director, Finance & Accounting | Industrial Manufacturing Platform

A growing, operationally-focused lower-middle-market investment platform is adding a senior finance leader to sit at the intersection of operations, strategy, and value creation. This is a high-visibility seat working alongside business presidents across a multi-entity manufacturing and distribution portfolio.

If you're a hands-on finance operator who's built or professionalized a function before and wants real ownership — including a path to equity — this is worth a conversation.

• Platform is entering a new phase of scale: systems, reporting, and team infrastructure are being built now
• You'll shape what the finance function looks like, not inherit a bureaucracy
• Meaningful upside: short-term incentive tied to EBITDA and cash return

• Full-cycle accounting and financial reporting across a multi-site portfolio — month-end close, consolidated financials, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Cash and working capital management across the enterprise
• Shared services oversight: AR/AP, payroll, benefits, and HR administration via PEO
• Lead relationship with outside accounting and tax advisors
• Cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP optimization (JD Edwards experience a plus)
• Shareholder reporting and audit preparation
• Supporting M&A integration and post-close financial setup as the platform continues to acquire

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience; manufacturing or industrial background strongly preferred
• CPA preferred — not a hard requirement if the experience speaks for itself
• Exposure to PE-backed, sponsor-owned, or family office-backed businesses is a meaningful differentiator
• Comfortable being both the strategist and the one who gets things done
