As a Plant Cost Financial Analyst
, you will play a crucial role in steering our financial strategy and maintaining robust fiscal practices. Reporting directly to the Plant Controller, you will ensure the integrity of accounting records, manage cost accounting processes, and contribute to financial reporting and analysis.
- Competitive salary ($87,000 - $92,000, based on experience).

- Develop and update product standard costs, ensuring compliance with GAAP and directives from senior management.
- Collaborate with the Plant Controller to refine costing methodologies, enhancing accuracy in labor and overhead rates.
- Conduct weekly manufacturing variance analyses to support decision‑making by plant leadership.
- Manage inventory accounting, including reconciliations, roll forwards, and reporting on write‑offs.
- Facilitate the cycle count process through detailed reporting and system support.
- Oversee annual physical inventory procedures and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance during audits.
- Provide backup support for various accounting functions and participate in month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- At least 4 years of hands‑on experience in cost accounting (with exposure to the manufacturing process - taking raw materials to finish goods).
- Profound knowledge of GAAP and advanced cost accounting practices.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work fully onsite in manufacturing environment.
