Senior Associate, Financial Operations & Analysis

Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Manager in preparing financial performance analysis, reporting, and support across designated regions.
  • Communicate and interpret financial results to field leaders within two assigned divisions; prepare materials for recurring touch‑bases with field leadership.
  • Assist in researching performance trends and conducting ad‑hoc financial analyses requested by Divisional Presidents, Regional Vice Presidents, and Senior Medical Directors.
  • Develop and prepare educational materials and working sessions to address learning gaps for field leaders on drivers of financial performance.
  • Act as the financial Subject Matter Expert during onboarding of new field leaders such as RVPs.
  • Generate and update center‑level financial reporting and projections, including transition of reporting platforms in collaboration with the FP&A Team.
  • Compile reports, extract key takeaways, and prepare executive discussion content for priority center reviews.
  • Develop pro forma projections and track improvement/deterioration rates for priority centers; benchmark performance against peers.
  • Assist with JV reporting and the revision/maintenance of the Drivers of Profitability model.
  • Enhance field financial reporting templates to increase visibility of variances against benchmarks such as budgets or center J‑Curves.
  • Support senior leadership and cross‑functional teams on ad‑hoc requests, project evaluations, and data‑driven initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of healthcare finance experience, preferably in value‑based care or Medicare Advantage.
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting skills; experience with budget development, profitability drivers, and variance analyses.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning and reporting systems such as Adaptive, Tableau, or similar BI/visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with data querying/management tools such as SQL or Alteryx (plausible).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate financial results into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience developing educational or training materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively in cross‑functional projects.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to conduct ad‑hoc analyses, identify performance trends, and support reporting solutions.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related quantitative field.
Pay Range

Typical pay range: $95,000, with the potential for higher compensation based on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program, and includes an equity award target.
