Work Hours8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday (on-site, no remote work)

Essential Functions- Review retiree contributions, time worked, and wages for accuracy and completeness.
- Audit financial and related data contained within member accounts.
- Prepare billings to members for overdue retirement contributions.
- Review and verify classifications of payroll miscellaneous deductions.
- Document and prepare transactions to complete member refunds of excess contributions.
- Perform follow‑up and review on all member billings, including notices and income withholding orders.
- Calculate cost and interest for qualifying periods, military service repayments, and other adjustments.
- Analyze system reporting and payroll transactions to validate employer share of contributions.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required.
- Four years of college credit in business administration and accounting or four years of technical accounting experience.
- Eligible state employees in the Upward Mobility Program may substitute qualifying proficiency tests and training for these requirements.
- Experience performing accounting functions and evaluating moderate difficulty problems.
- Experience in accounts receivable or billing processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to perform detailed work with accurate arithmetical calculations.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
