Auditor Accountant
Summary
Responsible for assisting in the execution of financial, compliance, and operational audits, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with company plans, policies, and procedures. The role conducts audits across various departments and providers, interprets findings, and prepares detailed reports on results.
Responsibilities- Conduct audits of financial, management, and administrative procedures for assigned divisions, providers, and lines of business.
- Interview key personnel, perform testing, and evaluate internal controls.
- Analyze existing financial and management practices to determine effectiveness.
- Review documentation to support findings.
- Develop detailed audit reports, highlighting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Track and test the implementation of corrective actions.
- Conduct special audit studies to detect fraud prevention controls.
- Assist other auditors to maximize audit efficiency.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. - Experience:
No previous work experience required.

- Knowledge of auditing principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze financial data and determine applicability.
- Ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to gather information through record examination, document review, and interviews.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels.

- Handling confidential matters professionally.

- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Typical office environment with travel between office buildings required. Out‑of‑town travel may be required.

Minimum: $20.84 per hour – Midpoint: $29.59 per hour – Maximum: $38.33 per hour. Compensation depends on experience, location, and internal equity.
