Position Overview

As a Teller within PNC’s Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Springfield, IL.

• Delivers a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
• Processes a variety of customer interactions, educates customers on alternatives available for their financial interactions, and identifies banking opportunities to refer as appropriate.
• Engages customers meaningfully, making appropriate referrals to branch staff and positioning PNC products to meet their needs.
• Applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.

Roles at this level typically do not require a university/college degree, high school diploma, GED, or significant experience to accomplish primary duties. Prior experience is not required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Base Salary: $15.38 – $21.15. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.

Paid time off includes parental leave, up to 11 paid holidays each year, and 7 occasional absence days each year. Part‑time employees accrue vacation time based on hours worked and can use it after 90 days of service.
