Payables Consultant

• Applies consultative sales and relationship management practices to generate leads and close sales of treasury management and payment solutions for new and existing clients
• Monitors implementation activities to ensure alignment with timelines
• Provides tailored treasury management solutions and optimizes sales processes through continuous process improvements
• Builds and nurtures strategic relationships with prospects and existing clients
• Identifies cross-selling opportunities for treasury and cash management solutions
• Leads complex deal closures with internal teams and stakeholders
• Evaluates vulnerabilities and manages risks within client portfolios
• Oversees client implementation activities and provides feedback for process refinement
• Serves as a subject matter expert delivering innovative treasury solutions
• Represents the organization at industry forums and community events
• Coordinates cross-functional teams for strategic initiatives
• Coordinates database management and data governance alignment
• Leads workflow improvements across treasury and payment operations
• Builds and maintains relationships with high-value and strategic clients
• Analyzes client and industry data to develop customized solution strategies and optimize working capital management
• Defines products, solutions, and strategies with internal teams and stakeholders
• Builds advocacy and adoption of NA TPS digital products and solutions
• Supports implementation documentation, pricing, and project timelines
• Ensures regulatory compliance, internal controls, risk mitigation, and service standards
• Serves as an enterprise-level specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders
• Addresses complex and ambiguous situations and implements changes in response to shifting trends

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Sales and treasury management, financial operations or risk management in a corporate or banking environment is preferred
• Commercial Banking experience is a nice to have
• Commercial Card knowledge or experience is a nice to have
• Treasury payment systems is a nice to have
• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred
• Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered
• Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge
• Advanced level of proficiency in Structuring Deals
• Expert level of proficiency in Treasury Management, Cash Management, Payment Technologies, Financial Analysis, Risk Assessment, Quality Assurance Auditing, Regulatory Compliance, Data Analysis Reporting, Sales CRM, Problem Solving, and Collaboration
• Adherence to applicable laws, regulations, internal controls, policies, standards, procedures, and supporting documents

Demonstrates expertise in Treasury Management, Risk Assessment, and Financial Analysis while effectively managing client relationships and implementing tailored treasury solutions. Proven ability to lead complex deal closures and optimize sales processes through strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
