SUPPLY Management Specialist; TITLE Security Clearance

Position: SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32) with Security Clearance
Duties As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-2003-7/9/11, you will develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list:
* Formulate and implement the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations.
* Develop, coordinate and implement policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved by the USPFO, emergency support for civil authorities, training exercises support and environmental compliance.
* Ensure coordination between units, JFHQ staff, USPFO, NGB and other agencies on command logistics support requirements.
* Initiate equipment redistribution guidance.
* Responsible for operation of the logistics operations center to support JFHQ Emergency Operations Center for Federal and State missions.
* Obtain data from the Unit Status Report and the Material Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness.
* Consolidate all logistics readiness indicators to formulate an assessment of the command logistics readiness of the state.
* Develop the Equipment on Hand policy that directs the supply and services officer and (DOL) DCSLOG/G4 to initiate equipment redistribution actions within the command.
* Develop command requirements for new equipment training.
* Serve as the Information Systems/Automation Security Officer, Physical Security Officer and Safety Officer for the directorate, providing technical oversight throughout the shops and activities of the program. Requirements Conditions of employment
* This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the Illinois National Guard and in the military grade listed in the announcement. * The FIRST area of consideration for this position will be all excepted permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within the ILNG.
* The SECOND area of consideration will be all current Federal Employees.
* The THIRD area of consideration will be all Federal re-employment eligible.
* The FOURTH area of consideration will be applicants willing to become T32 Dual Status Technicians and gain ILNG membership.
