Position Overview The Community Revitalization Program Manager (PSA, Option
1) manages programs in the agency's Office of Community Development and supervises staff. To succeed in this position, you must be able to organize tasks well, focus on details, prioritize effectively, excel in verbal and written communication, and provide step-by-step instructions. The ideal candidate brings friendliness, energy, and responsiveness to both staff and the people we serve. Essential Functions Formulates and implements policies for the administration of the Community Revitalization program for the federal Community Development Block Grant. Serves as working supervisor. Monitors, manages and evaluates community revitalization project activities. Ensures that projects comply with state and federal requirements. Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with courses in business or public administration, economic development, urban planning, or related field. Requires prior experience equivalent to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, that requires supervision or management of projects and programs. Specialized Skills Requires three years of experience administering federal and/or state grant programs from conception to closeout.

Requires three years of experience completing federal or state environmental reviews or other external grant requirement evaluations from a federal or state agency or completion of Environmental Training through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Requires three years or a combination of experience in economic development, community planning, business assistance, infrastructure development or commercial development. Requires three years of experience in grant administration of Community Development Block Grants.

Requires three years' experience effectively supervising and guiding team members, fostering collaboration, and applying strong problem-solving skills in a professional setting.
