As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work with patients in their homes, delivering high-quality care to more than 60,000 patients daily. You will contribute to developing an amazing team of compassionate and dedicated healthcare providers by living our mission every day.
Responsibilities- Promote Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission, and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
- Perform direct physical therapy services in accordance with accepted standards of practice and physician orders to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- Follow the Plan of Care as established by the Physical Therapist and report changes in status promptly.
- Adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines.
- Verify the Plan of Care prior to each visit and provide care according to physician’s orders and established standards.
- Incorporate patient care goals from the Plan of Care into therapy care.
- Instruct patients and families in the safe use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
- Instruct patients and/or caregivers in the home therapy program.
- Work in a physically demanding environment with potential irregular hours and on-call if applicable.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
- 6+ months of PTA experience preferred.
- Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance per state laws.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently and lift 50-100 lbs.
- Compensation range: $28 to $34 per hour, with additional earnings possible for work beyond quota, bonuses, on-call, or other variable compensation.
- Elara Caring determines compensation based on education, knowledge, skills, training, and experience; varies by location.

You will report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor, or designee.
