Description
Attention all Medical Assistants! We are seeking partners to provide services to our Military Service members.
Work primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekdays, in the State of _________ on an "as needed basis".
We offer health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to keep a deployable military force for the following branches:
- U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
- Army National Guard (ARNG)
- U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
- U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
- U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
- Air National Guard (ANG)
- U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
Responsibilities:
- Phlebotomy / Blood draw
- Immunizations
- EKG
- Manual vitals and vision tests
Requirements:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from an accredited medical assisting program
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience (preferred)
- Passionate, friendly, and caring demeanor
- Ability to utilize universal precautions for patient care
- Experience working with military populations (preferred)
- Experience with mobile medical services (preferred)
- Proficient in computer programs
- Weekend availability is required
