Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program:
Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program:

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg, cardiac monitoring and emergency response, telemetry–remote monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience
• Teaching Hospital Experience
• Community Hospital Experience
• Blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, chest tubes–Emerson/Pleur Evac, CPAP/BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, colostomy care and management, feeding tube care and management, CVA (cerebrovascular accident), pre/post neurosurgery, heparin, insulin, PCA, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, IV insulin protocols, ortho trauma, post angiogram, post MI, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, surgical drains*.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Will work every other weekend.
• Is on-call REQ? No.

Floating Requirements: Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float as needed to other Med Surg and like units.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
