Duad Wellness is redefining geriatric mental health care in Illinois. As a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient (PHP/IOP) provider focused exclusively on older adults, the program delivers compassionate, evidence-based treatment designed to preserve dignity, independence, and emotional well-being. Care is grounded in interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical integrity, and measurable outcomes tailored to the realities of aging.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Duad Wellness at the launch of the Springfield program. As a new practice, key clinical systems, processes, and team structure are being developed. You will play a central role in shaping clinical standards, building team culture, and establishing a strong, sustainable program.

Duad Wellness is seeking a Clinical and Executive Director to lead the Springfield program. This dual leadership role requires a licensed clinician who brings both operational vision and strong clinical expertise. You will provide strategic oversight and hands-on clinical leadership to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and program effectiveness.

• Oversee all clinical programming across PHP and IOP levels of care.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop therapists, case managers, and support staff.
• Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Lead performance improvement and clinical outcomes initiatives aligned with program goals.
• Provide direct clinical care when appropriate and maintain a strong therapeutic presence within the team.
• Guide program direction and clinical best practices in geriatric behavioral health.
• Partner with leadership to support operational growth and fiscal sustainability.

• Maintain treatment model integrity and documentation standards.
• Provide clinical supervision consistent with Illinois licensure requirements.
• Lead interdisciplinary treatment planning and utilization review.
• Monitor symptom reduction, functional outcomes, and quality indicators.
• Foster a culture of accountability, compassion, and continuous clinical improvement.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
• Active Illinois licensure as LCSW or LCPC required (LCSW preferred).
• Minimum five years of clinical behavioral health experience.
• Minimum two years of leadership or clinical supervision experience.
• Expertise in geriatric mental health or older adult programming strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PHP and IOP operations, regulatory compliance, and outcomes-based care.
• Experience supervising clinicians toward independent licensure preferred.
