Springfield Residential - 2200 Lake Victoria Dr, Springfield, IL 62703

• Residential Center - Adult Male and Female population
• Work with CADC, LPC or LSW level counselors in delivering substance use treatment
• Prepare and implement comprehensive assessments and individualized, developmentally appropriate treatment plans
• Provide individual and group counseling and educational programs in accordance with treatment plans
• Document treatment and discharge plans, progress notes, and related records
• Perform case management and contribute to client care monitoring
• Handle a caseload that may include complex cases requiring intensive services

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience; minimum 100 hours documented clinical training in counseling theory and practice
• Current certification as a substance abuse counselor (CADC) or higher licensure (LPC, LSW) in state of hire
• Minimum 2 years of experience in substance abuse or mental health counseling
• Related work experience with program-specific population (adolescent/adult) and residential treatment setting

• Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects
• Ability to use a keyboard and monitor to enter and retrieve information
• Ability to record, proofread and check documents for accuracy
• Ability to respond to telephones, hear alarms and unusual noises
• Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a Gateway vehicle

Compensation (based on experience and credentials): Range begins at $25.64 - $32.28 per hour. Gateway Foundation conducts annual reviews including merit increases.
