Job Description
Join a state-of-the-art acute care hospital in Springfield as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse. You’ll be working in a busy 5-room interventional cardiac cath lab, performing procedures such as diagnostic and left heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery monitoring, and procedural sedation management. The role involves circulating during complex cardiac procedures, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, and monitoring sedation levels—surely keeping you engaged and on your toes.
This assignment offers the chance to work a 3×12 daytime shift, keeping your evenings free, with flexibility to float within your scope as needed. Active IL licensure, ACLS, and BLS certifications are required. Prior interventional cardiac cath lab experience is essential, and first-timers with relevant skills are welcome. Expect a varied and rewarding workload in a facility recognized as a Magnet hospital and a Level I trauma center.
During this 13-week contract, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your expertise while enjoying a supportive environment and a comprehensive charting system using Cerner.
