Activities Aide

Calhoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is seeking a part‑time Activity Aide. The Activity Aide assists under the direction of the Activity Director in carrying out a planned activity program for residents, including therapeutic, neurological, and medical needs. The role requires knowledge of age‑specific developmental factors for adults and geriatric residents and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Assist Activity Director with seasonal décor of the facility.
• Invite residents to activity programs as appropriate and as determined in the Care Plan.
• Host the assigned activities for the day with residents.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Maintain attendance records for resident activities on a daily basis.
• Perform slight housekeeping tasks, such as clean‑up following parties and programs.
• Interact with residents, family members, co‑workers, clinical and ancillary staff in a non‑judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.
• Address family satisfaction issues timely and assist in resolving the matter in a professional manner.

Education / Training: Must possess a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

Experience: No experience required. Prior experience in long‑term care preferred.
