TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Farmington, Illinois.

Our immediate travel opening is for OTAs with at least 1 year of experience. The role includes working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients of all ages develop, improve, or recover skills necessary for daily living and work. The OTA will implement treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and functional abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
  • Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
  • Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
  • Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
  • Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
  • Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and COTA National certification.
  • State-specific licensure required.
  • Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, motor function, and occupational therapy principles.
  • Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
Compensation & Details

Job : #1438810. Pay package based on 7‑hour shifts and 35 hours per week, subject to confirmation, with tax‑free stipend to be determined.
