Hospital Porter

We are looking to recruit a reliable and motivated Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day running of the hospital, ensuring services operate safely and efficiently.

• Moving equipment, supplies, and clinical materials as required
• Supporting staff with deliveries and collections throughout the NHSH area
• Assisting with waste disposal in line with infection control standards
• Responding promptly to requests to maintain patient service delivery

• A flexible and reliable approach to work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
• Awareness of health & safety and infection control requirements
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks (training will be provided)

Hours of work:
Monday , Tuesday  & Wednesday
