Pharmacy Supervisor

Department: Inpatient Pharmacy

Shift: Full Time

Facility: Olympia Fields Hospital

Location: Olympia Fields, IL

• Assist in the daily activities of the pharmacy department, supervising and directing day-to-day services, functions, operations, and activities.
• Oversee use of automated dispensing cabinets (ADC), electronic health records (EHR), and drug ordering processes.
• Set schedules and assign daily work for pharmacists and/or pharmacy technicians.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and coordinate with other hospital departments, providers, and external customers on pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with disciplines to ensure procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
• Hire, train, supervise, develop, and evaluate pharmacists and/or pharmacy technicians.
• Perform technical duties such as maintaining patient records and supervising the use of ADCs; support quality assurance programs.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $110K to $171K on an annualized basis.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, with consideration given to factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
