Overview
Position:
Outpatient Physical Therapist cent Regional Hospital, Billings, MT. Responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using standard physical therapy procedures and modalities. Provides consultation, education, and training to patients, families, and caregivers, and collaborates with care teams to deliver patient‑centered care.
- Utilize evidence‑based practices and standard of care with appropriate goals, duration, and intensity of service.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with patients, families, caregivers, peers, and stakeholders.
- Participate in mentoring and supervision of students and new hires.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives as part of the Intermountain Operating Model.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health and adhere to service standards.
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
- Current licensure in state of practice.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- Basic computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with the target population of the job setting.
Ongoing need to see and read information; assess patient needs; operate monitors; identify equipment and supplies. Frequent verbal communication with patients and providers, including during emergencies. Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment, including frequent computer use and typing. Ability to lift, bend, carry, and move supplies or patients, including heavy items. Ability to navigate crowded, busy rooms and stand for extended periods.
Benefitsand Compensation
- Hourly rate: $42.66 - $65.82 (dependent on experience).
- $20,000 sign‑on bonus.
- Up to $5,750 relocation assistance.
