We are a leading optometry practice in the Sycamore/DeKalb area, dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services to our community. Our team is committed to enhancing patient experiences through comprehensive eye examinations, high-quality eyewear, and personalized care.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Experienced Optician to join our established private optometric practice in Dekalb, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical dispensing, a passion for patient care, and the ability to deliver personalized eyewear solutions. This role is essential in ensuring patients receive high-quality vision care products while enjoying a welcoming and professional experience.

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and preferences
• Interpret and accurately fill eyeglass prescriptions
• Take precise measurements (PD, segment height, etc.)
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and products
• Adjust, fit, and repair eyewear as needed
• Manage optical inventory and frame displays
• Process orders and coordinate with optical labs
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing when needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting patient relationships
