Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center
is a 97-bed facility located in Springfield, Illinois. We are dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We are the only facility of our kind in Central Illinois! We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral disorders. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
The Collections Representative is responsible for managing and resolving outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections of the balance after insurance. This role requires strong knowledge of inpatient hospital billing processes and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
QualificationsDuties and Responsibilities:
- Follow up on outstanding account balance after insurance.
- Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibility and payment options.
- Maintain accurate account documentation and updates in billing systems.
- Provide excellent customer service in all interactions.
- Reconciliation of daily attendance records to charge posting for IOP program.
- School Billing accounts receivable documentation/record preparation.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Requirements:- Medical collections experience
- Experience with IL insurance payers
- Understanding of patient financial responsibility after insurance
- Knowledge of UB claim forms and inpatient hospital billing processes
- Education: High school diploma required
