Springfield, Illinois Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist. This position involves providing specialized diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures within a Level I trauma-certified acute care hospital. The role requires working flexible day shifts with the potential for float within scope and on-call responsibilities as needed.

• Shift: 4x12-hour or 3x12-hour days (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)
• Schedule:

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Minimum 1 year experience in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiac cath lab, ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS certifications, active Illinois license, Cerner charting experience, and work setting experience in a diagnostic or interventional cath lab
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with Cardiac Implant Closure Devices, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Procedures, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, ARRT, BLS, RCIS
• Additional Information:
  Requires procedural skills such as equipment setup, recognition of arrhythmias, sterile technique, and infection control practices including isolation precautions. Focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. No guaranteed hours beyond scheduled shifts; candidate must be prepared for call as needed and work holidays per schedule.
