Moible Charge​/Lead Phlebotomist

Position Overview

Our Charges use their healthcare and phlebotomy skills to oversee blood collection operations and ensure that collections run smoothly while providing donor care. In addition to overseeing staff for the assigned blood drive or collection center, Charges carry out all functions of the donation process including donor registration, screening, physical, and phlebotomy. Charges may be expected to drive fleet vehicles when needed.

This is a full‑time position (30‑39 hours per week) that requires the ability to work varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.

• Oversee blood collection operations at assigned drive or center.
• Lead, train, and manage staff to ensure a quality donor experience.
• Perform donor registration, screening, physical, and phlebotomy.
• Operate and maintain fleet vehicles as necessary.

• Customer service experience
• Previous lead, supervisory, or management experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience working with the public
• Good, stable work history
• Understand importance of following SOPs
• Healthcare experience is a plus
• Ability to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
• Can work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, weekends
• Valid driver’s license in the state of residence and insurable by our carrier
• REAL
• DOT Medical Certification Physical card holder or able to obtain
• Pre‑employment background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required
