Job Summary

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides respiratory therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician. Respiratory therapy care is provided as authorized by the applicable state scope of practice regulations.

CapsuleAID is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a renowned pediatric acute care facility. New graduates are welcome. This position offers significant growth opportunities.

• Complies with CapsuleAID policies and procedures.
• Complies with client facility policies and procedures.
• Documents accurately and completely services provided.
• Initiates, administers, and monitors all respiratory care procedures as assigned.
• Initiates emergency measures according to client resuscitation protocols.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that respects cultural diversity and age appropriateness.
• Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meeting state-specific requirements.
• Complies with accepted ethical and professional standards of conduct as set forth by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy (NBRT) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current and unrestricted state licensure as required by the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
• New or experienced Respiratory Therapists are encouraged to apply.

• Compensation range: $38.00/hr. – $43.00/hr commensurate with experience.
