Salary Range: $30,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year

This is a year-long, full-time Ameri Corps position requiring completion of a minimum of 1,700 service hours. The work schedule for this position is aligned with Erie's hours of operations.
MainDuties & Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one health education and self-management support to patients
- Participate in community events, training, and Ameri Corps service activities
- Support Lending Hands for Life HIV programming and re-engagement efforts
- Conduct outreach and engagement for patients requiring additional support
- Document patient interactions and coordinate follow-up care activities
- Facilitate health education groups and recruit participants for programs
Applications must be submitted by September 13, 2026, to be considered for full-time opportunities. Anticipated start of Monday, September 21st 2026.
Education- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Current CPR Certification
- U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident
- Ability to meet Ameri Corps background check requirements
- Experience in community health, social services, or related fields
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with electronic health record systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
