Job Description
Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Pharmacist to join our team for night shifts at a prominent hospital in Evanston, IL. This temp‑to‑hire position offers an immediate start and the chance to oversee critical pharmacy operations during the night. You will be the only pharmacist on duty, supported by a pharmacy technician, ensuring the hospital's medication needs are met with accuracy and efficiency.
KeyDuties
- Lead and oversee all pharmacy operations during the night shift
- Supervise and work collaboratively with the pharmacy technician
- Dispense, verify, and manage medications to ensure patient safety
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to maintain accurate records and workflows
- PharmD degree
- Active Illinois pharmacist license
- Current hospital experience
- Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems (preferred)
