Make a difference in the lives of K-8 students by providing speech-language therapy services in an engaging, multicultural school setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Bilingual SLP with a passion for working with elementary and middle school students. Located near Cicero, IL, you will support a bilingual caseload across 1-2 schools, ensuring diverse learners receive expert care and individualized attention throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy for bilingual students in grades K-8
• Support language development, communication, and social skills within a school framework
• Perform screenings, assessments, and develop individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to align therapy with students' educational goals
• Maintain organized therapy documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Receive supervision support provided by the district (CFY candidates welcome!)
• Adapt to school requirements, including fingerprinting prior to start

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language
• Valid PEL with LBS 1 certification
• Experience with K-8 caseloads in a school-based setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to manage a caseload across 1-2 buildings effectively
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
