The Housekeeping Team Lead is an essential member of the housekeeping team which is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position.
What You Will Do- Inspect the work of a team of Room Attendants and House Attendants responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a specific area of the hotel.
- Train and coach the staff.
- Monitor each Room Attendant’s daily progress.
- Inspect completed rooms to assure that all standards have been met.
- When standards have been missed, bring employee back to room to correct the deficiency.
- Coordinate work orders in assigned section and follow up to be sure work is completed.
- Release checkout rooms to be sold.
- Inspect all VIP and Special Attention rooms very carefully ensuring that all special requests and amenities are completed.
- Receive and complete all guest requests when on the floors, i.e. extra pillow, blankets.
- Keep linen rooms tidy, correctly stocked and closed at all times when not in use.
- Ensure working equipment is always clean, tidy and in good working order.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge and ability to operate various electronic systems.
- Passion for luxury hospitality.
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to assist with responsibilities and duties in the absences or heavy volume in the areas of Guestroom Attendant, Lobby Attendant, Desk Attendant and House Attendant.
- Compensation: $27.68 – $29.18 per hour.
