Specialist - Talent Acquisition

Job Description

The Wesco Talent Acquisition team is growing! We are seeking an onsite Specialist – Talent Acquisition to support the recruiting process at our Alsip, IL facilities, one of Wesco’s critical high‑volume warehouse sites.

• Serve as the primary on‑site Talent Acquisition partner working closely with Talent Acquisition leadership, RPO, Operations, and Human Resources to align staffing plans and address challenges.
• Manage requisition and hiring activities to ensure staffing levels align with daily and strategic operational resource needs.
• Maintain accurate tracking of requisitions, candidate status, interview activity, and hiring outcomes; prepare regular reports for site leadership.
• Lead full‑cycle recruiting process for exempt level positions including resume review, phone screening and interview coordination with Operations leaders.
• Research, recommend, and establish partnerships with local organizations, schools, and other community resources to build brand awareness and increase candidate pools.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, company standards, and warehouse safety requirements throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
• Leverage recruiting systems and tools to improve speed, efficiency, and candidate experience in a high‑volume environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting; warehouse, manufacturing, or hourly high‑volume hiring experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Application Tracking Systems (Oracle Recruiting Cloud preferred).
• 2 years required understanding of recruiting policies, practices, and employment law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Flexible, well organized, and comfortable working on‑site in a warehouse or distribution center setting.

Compensation Details: $64,653 - $84,048 Annually.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
