We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Recruiter to lead large-scale, project-based hiring initiatives across a broad regional footprint. This role will focus on recruiting top commercial talent—including sales, account management, business development, and commercial leadership roles up to the VP level.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments and brings deep expertise in stakeholder management, regional hiring strategy, and executing against aggressive timelines while maintaining a high bar for talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment across a portfolio of commercial roles, from intake through offer, supporting hiring needs across a large, multi-state region
  • Partner closely with regional and senior leadership teams (up to VP level) to develop and execute strategic hiring plans aligned to business growth objectives
  • Manage high-volume requisition load while maintaining strong candidate quality, experience, and speed to hire
  • Drive hiring for a commercial function, including sales, account management, field operations, and commercial leadership roles
  • Navigate complex organizational structure, building strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
  • Operate with urgency and precision under tight deadlines, balancing competing priorities and rapidly shifting business needs
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage top commercial talent across diverse markets and geographies
  • Provide market intelligence and talent insights, including compensation trends, competitor analysis, and regional talent availability
  • Establish and maintain structured, scalable interview processes to support consistent and efficient hiring decisions
  • Anticipate and proactively resolve hiring challenges, removing barriers to ensure timely delivery against hiring goals
  • Collaborate with HR, compensation, onboarding, and recruiting operations to ensure seamless hiring execution across the region
  • Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, etc.) to inform decision-making and stakeholder updates
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5–8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on commercial or revenue-generating roles
  • Proven success hiring across large geographic regions and managing regionally distributed stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience supporting leadership hiring up to the VP level
  • Track record of managing high-volume recruiting workloads while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders
  • Experience operating in complex, fast-paced, and highly matrixed environments
  • Advanced sourcing and talent mapping capabilities across multiple markets
  • Strong business acumen, particularly in commercial functions such as sales and business development
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL or surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting regional expansions, market launches, or high-growth commercial environments
  • Background in project-based, contract, or RPO recruiting models
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting analytics tools
  • Experience hiring both field-based and corporate commercial roles
