About the role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our McLean, VA office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of HR experience and a strong background in a tech startup environment. This role will focus primarily on human resources management while also involving aspects of recruitment and office management.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Implement HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with the company's goals
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions
- Utilize creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry
- Coordinate office maintenance, supplies, and logistics to ensure a productive work environment
- Assist with organizing company-wide events and employee celebrations
- Support facilities management to maintain office operations smoothly
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally within a tech startup
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
- Proven recruiting skills with a focus on identifying and attracting top talent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Proficient with HR software and tools
