- Develop primary relationships with each Provider introduced to Springfield Clinic.
- Manage all aspects of the internal sourcing and recruiting process.
- Collaborate with Springfield Clinic physician leadership and Service Line Directors to source and present quality candidates based on qualifications and culture fit.
- Establish rapport and effective working relationships with physicians, practice leaders, and Springfield Clinic administration.
- Use the physician and provider recruitment tracking system daily to update candidate profiles, status, recruitment, and sourcing efforts.
- Track candidates through the recruitment process.
- Prepare and maintain recruitment metrics reports for assigned regions and/or searches.
- Present and interpret data in multidisciplinary team discussions to improve recruitment efforts.
- Create, maintain, and update opportunity descriptions with the APP & Physician Recruitment Manager.
- Develop recruitment sourcing strategies and build a network and candidate pipeline using databases, online recruiting and sourcing methods, and medical professional organizations.
- Communicate with candidates and leads throughout recruitment.
- Coordinate travel and site visit arrangements.
- Partner with community leaders to expose candidates to areas of interest.
- Conduct post-visit activities, including reference checks, medical staff privileges, and onboarding.
- Inform the recruitment manager of scheduling progress and obstacles.
- Assist with candidate reimbursement for incidental interview and relocation expenses.
- Coordinate registration and informational materials for career fairs, professional and medical meetings, and conferences.
- Participate in provider job fairs, recruiting shows, and other networking activities as needed.
- Serve as a communication conduit for Clinic departments, administration, and outside agencies.
- Professionally represent assigned areas and Springfield Clinic.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations or Communications, HR, Healthcare Administration, or a related field of study is required.
- At least two (2) years of provider recruitment, provider relations, healthcare, public relations, business, sales or marketing experience is required.
- Understanding of training and licensure requirements for Providers is preferred.
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence and prioritize workflow is required.
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making consistent with departmental and organizational objectives is required.
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and the local, regional and national marketplace is required.
- Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of provider recruitment or provider relations is required.
- Knowledge of clinical and medical specialties is required.
- Must comply with Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
- Must adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training and accomplishments as required by policy.
- Must provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
- HIPAA4 privacy level requirements.
Demonstrates expertise in provider recruitment and relations, with a strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems and the ability to manage recruitment processes effectively. Capable of building relationships with physicians and community leaders while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
