Job Description:

Our client located in the Springfield, MA area has an immediate opening for an IT Project Coordinator to join their team in a hybrid remote capacity. The IT Project Coordinator will work with IT Managers and Technical leads to plan, organize, and coordinate the successful delivery of IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Elicit project/initiative requirements and objectives
• Create project and resource plans
• Coordinate with team members to establish schedules, milestones, and individual tasks
• Arrange and lead project and team meetings
• Document meeting minutes and action items, ensuring follow-up
• Track project progress, team performance, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Utilize project management software such as JIRA to monitor progress and schedule adherence

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in cross-functional teams with technical and non-technical backgrounds
• Understanding of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
• Customer-focused mindset to meet stakeholder expectations and business needs
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects with attention to detail
• Effective prioritization skills to meet deadlines
• Proactive in identifying and addressing project risks and challenges
• Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
• PMP Certification (a plus)
• 5 to 10 years of experience as an IT Project Manager/Coordinator
• Experience in agile projects
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for project management and reporting
