Compensation: $76–$96/hour | Equivalent to ~$158,080 – $199,680/year

About the RoleOur client is building a next-generation Retail Media Network (RMN) that leverages rich first-party shopper data and a robust retail ecosystem to deliver impactful advertising solutions for brands while enhancing the customer experience.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this retail media platform. This high-level role sits at the intersection of ad tech, retail, and product innovation—partnering across engineering, data science, sales, marketing, and merchandising.
As the product leader, you’ll drive development of ad products, campaign management tools, targeting capabilities, and reporting/attribution solutions that maximize advertiser value and retail revenue while safeguarding the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the Retail Media Network.
- Build advertiser-facing solutions including self-serve campaign creation, targeting, optimization, and reporting dashboards.
- Partner with engineering to deliver scalable, privacy-compliant platforms (ad serving, audience segmentation, attribution).
- Innovate on ad formats such as onsite sponsored products, offsite display, and CTV/streaming.
- Develop and maintain measurement and attribution frameworks (closed-loop reporting, incrementality testing).
- Collaborate with data science and analytics to leverage first-party retail data for targeting and insights.
- Lead product discovery, testing, and experimentation to validate new opportunities.
- 12+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in ad tech, martech, or retail media.
- Proven success building advertiser self-serve platforms or two-sided marketplaces (retailers + advertisers).
- Strong technical fluency: APIs, ad delivery systems, data pipelines, reporting platforms.
- Deep knowledge of ad tech ecosystem (DSPs/SSPs, ad servers, bidding, attribution, identity resolution).
- Familiarity with first-party retail data, shopper behavior, and closed-loop measurement.
- Track record of taking products from 0→1 and scaling adoption.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and privacy-compliant advertising practices.
- Background in retail, eCommerce, or consumer platforms.
- Experience with machine learning-driven personalization or targeting.
- Startup or high-growth environment exposure.
- Familiarity with clean room technologies (Snowflake, Habu, Live Ramp).
