We’re looking for a senior-level Analytics Engineer with a strong track record across multiple industries, comfortable operating in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments.
This is a hands-on role for someone who sits comfortably between data engineering, analytics, and the business.
This is a 6 month contract, 40 hours per week, with a strong view to extend.
Rates are competitive and dependent on experience.
We engage contractors via W2 or personal LLC only and cannot work with C2C third parties.
This role is remote, operating within US time zones.
What you’ll be doing
- Building and maintaining analytics-ready data models using dbt and dbt Cloud
- Working with Snowflake and Big Query environments to support scalable analytics use cases
- Ingesting and transforming data using modern ETL tools such as Fivetran, Stitch, or Estuary
- Supporting and interacting with data engineering tooling like Airflow or Meltano
- Enabling downstream analytics and BI use cases, including Tableau and similar tools
- Translating business and technical requirements into well-structured, production-ready data models
- Communicating clearly around delivery timelines, tradeoffs, and project status
What we’re looking for
- Senior-level Analytics Engineer experience across varied industries
- Strong, hands-on dbt and dbt Cloud experience
- Working knowledge of Snowflake and or Big Query
- Experience with modern ETL tools (Fivetran, Stitch, Estuary, or similar)
- Exposure to orchestration and data engineering tooling (Airflow, Meltano, or similar)
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau
- Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable managing shifting priorities, deadlines, and requirements while keeping stakeholders aligned
