Hospital Sisters Health System seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead technological advancements for the system. The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare technology leader who strategically partners with operations leaders and external vendors. The CTO will hold direct responsibility for technological strategy, infrastructure, and digital capabilities in support of the organization’s mission, clinical, operational, and financial priorities. This leader will report to the Chief Information Officer and oversee two System Directors, encompassing a total team of 100 colleagues.

- Must reside in one of our remote employable states and travel to Springfield, IL monthly
Lead and execute the technological strategy and digital transformation for a health system of 13 hospitals. Build and maintain robust IT infrastructure to support clinical, operational, and financial functions. Work closely with operations leaders and external vendors to align technology solutions with strategic goals. Oversee a team of 100 IT professionals and two System Directors. Manage vendor selection, system implementation, and ongoing technology operations.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field is required.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.
- 10 years of progressively more responsible IT leadership experience or healthcare consulting is required. Leadership experience within healthcare, enterprise technology, infrastructure, or hospital operations is preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience involving the development of information systems plans, use of standard methodologies, vendor selection, and implementation is preferred.
- Experience with AI advances is required.
- Experience with EPIC and/or Cerner EMRs is required.

Salary RangeBase salary with bonus potential. Salary Range: $275,000 – $323,500.
