Cyber Security Analyst Expert

Location:

Scott County, IL (Scott AFB). Full‑time. Requires current Secret clearance and ability to obtain Secret clearance. US citizenship required.

• Serve as the principal technical advisor and subject‑matter expert for system categorization, security controls selection, implementation, assessment, and Authorization to Operate (ATO) for approved cybersecurity tools.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Required Experience
  : 12+ years progressive enterprise engineering and management experience.
• Preferred Skills
  :
  • Design, development, direction, and implementation of enterprise network cyber‑defense capabilities to prevent sophisticated threats.
  • Proficient in layered defense and zero‑trust technologies.
  • Understanding of network threat lifecycle, attack vectors, and exploitation methods.
  • Knowledge of computer network theory, IT standards, and the OSI model.
  • Experience with web content filters, email security, IDS/IPS, HBSS, SEIM, DNS security, log and network monitoring, packet capture, proxies, firewalls, anti‑virus, and ACLs.
• Certifications
  : CISSP (or equivalent).
• Security Clearance
  :
  Active DoD Secret clearance.

• Salary Range: $166,280 – $224,968 (based on experience, location, and contractual factors).
