The Senior Manager of Data Architect (EDA) ensures Baker Tilly’s enterprise data is standardized, secure, well‑modeled, and consumable by defining and governing the firm‑wide data architecture across platforms and applications. The EDA translates business outcomes into reference architectures, data models, integration patterns, and standards, and enforces compliance through design governance and lifecycle controls.

• Standards & Governance: Own the enterprise data standards (naming, modeling, metadata, lineage, classification) and the authoritative data product definition; publish and maintain them in Enterprise Architecture/Data Governance repositories.
• Data Design Reviews: Establish and chair data design reviews for analytics and application teams; enforce compliance before production and at change gates.
• Architecture & Modeling: Define reference architectures (data lakehouse, warehouse, MDM, streaming, API‑based data services) and canonical models for core domains (Client, Project, Engagement, People, Finance). Author data integration patterns (batch/streaming, CDC, ELT/ETL) and quality/observability standards embedded in pipelines.
• Platform & Application Integration: Set ingestion/promotion standards for the analytics platform and align with Enterprise Architecture on system‑of‑record/source‑of‑truth and deprecation roadmaps (Workday, Salesforce, service line systems). Ensure service‑line solutions (Tax, Assurance, Managed Services, Consulting, Business Operations) adhere to enterprise data standards and integrate with the analytics platform.
• Compliance & Risk Controls: Encode data policy requirements (access, use, retention) into architecture artifacts; ensure DLP/privacy controls are traceable from policy to design to runtime.
• Documentation & Lifecycle: Maintain architecture and environment documentation (diagrams, data dictionaries, lineage, RACI) and institute an evergreen process for updates (access requests, change control).

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
• 8‑12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong data analytics and design background; experience working with technology leaders and stakeholders.
• Optional skills:
  Databricks, Snowflake design.

The pay range for this position is $176,670 to $267,950, influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
