Agile Program Manager – Broadcom Inc.

As an Agile Program Manager (APM), you will support, facilitate and guide the software product development efforts of the organization or value stream for which you are responsible. You act as the “glue” that ensures close collaboration between Product Management, Engineering and User Experience to deliver high value software products and solutions to the market. You also ensure close cross-functional collaboration with value stream partners including Support, Marketing, Operations, Education, Technical Information and Technical Consulting during product/solution deployment and go-to-market activities.

• Define the Agile Planning process for the value stream and schedule and facilitate key planning meetings to determine upcoming software product development plans.
• Organize quarterly Agile Planning Executive Reviews to provide executive leadership with a summary of execution results, upcoming plans and insights into future initiatives.
• Track work item progress and completion, schedule and facilitate status meetings, prepare and share reports, and manage risks, changes, dependencies and issues for milestones.
• Run Agile Retrospectives to continuously improve Agile Project Management practices.
• Collaborate closely with the Agile Coach to promote Agile principles, practices and behaviors and provide coaching to the organization or value stream leadership team.
• Bring the organization or value stream leadership team together regularly to address issues that inhibit success and formulate action plans.
• Coordinate cross‑functional meetings with partners such as Support, Marketing, Operations, Education, Technical Information and Technical Consulting to align activities for high customer satisfaction and business success.
• Coordinate activities and checklists required for successful software product or solution deployments and larger go‑to‑market initiatives, including facilitating cross‑functional working group meetings and executive reviews.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of related experience.

Agile Project or Agile Program Management experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of the software development life cycle; experience with leadership by influence; proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent;
Program Management Professional (PgMP);
Six Sigma Green Belt;
Agile Certification (PMI‑ACP) or Scrum Master (CSM).

• Base salary range: $91,000 – $146,000 per year.
