Job Description

Temporary Senior Project Manager (W2 on dentsu payroll, hourly, non‑exempt). Duration: ASAP to 7/31, 40 hours/week. Must be US based. Remote within the USA (Illinois).

• Manage multiple concurrent work streams including front‑end development, analytics, and cross‑functional discipline collaboration.
• Partner closely with client product owners, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Manage a development team of 6–12 developers divided into various pods of focus, including global team members and various time zones.
• Own day‑to‑day project operations in Jira, including reporting, backlog tracking, and proactive blocker resolution from standups.
• Drive delivery within a hybrid agile environment, adapting processes to fit program realities.
• Run and manage a specific set of Agile ceremonies, and adapt these ceremonies when necessary.
• Collaborate with a peer Senior Project Manager within a shared program structure.
• Coordinate dependencies with client‑side backend/IT teams.
• Develop project plans, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the defined scope.
• Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring collaboration and high‑quality deliverables.
• Allocate project resources, monitor usage, and adjust to increase project efficiency.
• Manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize their impact.
• Develop project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
• Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Provide regular project status updates and reports, highlighting milestones and risks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, requirements, change requests, and other artifacts.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, focused on digital experience technology implementations.
• Experience managing complex websites or e‑commerce development programs.
• Strong Jira expertise and comfort managing delivery metrics and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems creatively, and pivot quickly.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within AEM or similar CMS environments is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• In‑depth understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) design, web and mobile development, content management systems (CMS), and digital marketing.
• Experience managing project budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring project profitability.
• Experience managing client relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Client‑facing experience required.
• Experience collaborating with offshore teams preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Hourly pay range: $53.73–$70.00. The hourly rate depends on experience, skills, and other qualifying factors. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays and safe and sick time. The position is not eligible for additional benefits or compensation.
