As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our Security team, you’ll apply innovative AI methodologies to solve some of the nation’s hardest problems, grow your expertise, and shape the future of analytics in a collaborative environment.

• Experience coding in Python
• Experience with ML operations pipelines
• Knowledge of mathematics and statistics, including probability theory, statistical inference, algorithms, and linear algebra
• Ability to derive a variational inference procedure mathematically for a novel model and implement it in PyTorch, Tensor Flow or Num Py
• Ability to move between theory and practice
• Ability to learn new technical domains quickly and apply them to machine learning problems
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience with application areas of machine learning: computer vision, natural language processing, and learning on graphs
• Experience with modern ML and research directions
• Experience with advanced and emerging architectures
• Experience with foundation models and representation learning
• Experience with scientific or physics‑based modeling
• Knowledge of cloud systems, including AWS

Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). This figure is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.

Work location may be remote, hybrid, or onsite, depending on the role and organizational needs. Remote and hybrid positions may require occasional onsite work at Booz Allen or customer facilities.
