Overview
Teladoc Health is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Clinical Optimization to lead AI‑driven enhancements of tech‑enabled workflows that support virtual care delivery across clinical specialties. The role focuses on building scalable capabilities in scheduling, provider availability, workforce optimization, EMR‑enabled workflows, and cross‑platform integrations, and is outcome‑oriented, deeply empathetic to users, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.
Responsibilities- Own product strategy and roadmap for clinical optimization capabilities across scheduling, provider availability, workforce optimization, and EMR‑enabled workflows.
- Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
- Identify and prioritize high‑impact opportunities to improve provider capacity, care team efficiency, member access, and operational performance.
- Drive 0→1 product discovery and execution for new capabilities that can scale across clinical specialties for both W2 and 1099 providers.
- Translate complex clinical and operational workflows into clear product requirements, success metrics, and scalable platform capabilities.
- Manage a prioritized product roadmap that addresses product needs and aligns with overall company objectives.
- Partner with engineering, design, clinical operations, informatics, data, analytics, and business stakeholders to move from problem definition to launch and iteration.
- Drive integrations across EMR/EHR and non‑EMR platforms, including FHIR/HL7 and SMART APIs, data exchange, workflow handoffs, and operational tooling.
- Explore opportunities to use automation, AI/ML, data, and platform capabilities to reduce manual work, improve decision‑making, and simplify care delivery.
- Use data, user feedback, and business context to prioritize outcomes over activity and measurable impact over feature output.
- Influence senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders through clear storytelling, structured trade‑off discussions, and data‑backed recommendations.
- Ensure solutions are clinically appropriate, operationally scalable, trustworthy, and aligned with business and patient impact.
- Translate complex data and requirements into understandable communications for different audiences.
- Participate in a culture of learning and growing.
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in healthcare, digital health, enterprise SaaS, platform products, or regulated environments.
- Experience building or scaling products that support complex workflows across multiple platforms such as scheduling, provider operations, care delivery, workforce optimization, capacity management, or operational efficiency.
- Background working with healthcare, digital health, EMR/EHR platforms, provider workflows, or clinical operations.
- Fluency with API‑based integrations, platform interoperability, cross‑system workflows, and technical trade‑off discussions.
- Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools, automation, analytics, or workflow technologies to improve product execution, operational efficiency, decision‑making, or user workflows.
- Strong product judgment, including the ability to evaluate build‑vs‑partner opportunities and make pragmatic recommendations based on user needs, scalability, speed, cost, and long‑term platform fit.
- Bonus:
Ability to influence senior leaders and executives through compelling storytelling, crisp communication, and data‑backed arguments. - Bonus:
Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with high ambiguity, evolving priorities, and complex cross‑functional dependencies. - Bonus:
Strong empathy for users and a collaborative mindset across clinical, operational, technical, and business teams. - Bonus:
Proven ability to drive 0→1 product initiatives from ambiguous problem spaces through launch, adoption, and measurable impact.
- Base salary range: $130,000 – $170,000.
- Eligible for performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.
- Flexible vacation policy; all time off must be approved by a manager.
- 80 hours of paid sick, safe, and caregiver leave annually.
- Benefits information is available in Teladoc Health Benefits 2026.
