Matrix Systems Group is an Information Technology and Services company that places talented professionals in long‑term consulting roles across a range of industries. Some of the titles we look for include Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Network Administrators. We also occasionally have permanent positions on our team. This role is a full‑time staff position with benefits and paid time off available.

• Install and configure computers, networks, peripherals, routers, firewalls, printers, scanners, and audio/visual equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, networks, and related equipment.
• Monitor and evaluate system and network performance, making recommendations for changes or upgrades as warranted.
• Provide proactive technology solutions and recommendations to clients to improve efficiency and profitability, using persuasive and diplomatic communication skills.

• TCP/IP Networking LAN/WAN Experience
• Wireless Networking Experience
• Router and firewall Experience
• VPN Experience
• VMware or MS Hyper‑V Experience
• Microsoft Office Experience
• Microsoft Server Experience
• Microsoft Windows Active Directory Experience
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills are a must.
• Ability to work alone as well as part of a team is a must.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A+ and Network+ certifications are a plus.
• Telco Experience is a plus.
• Audio/Video Experience is a plus.

• Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation with insurance.
• Required to travel to customer locations throughout the Central IL area.
• Must be dependable with a professional appearance.
• Must submit to a drug screening and background check.

Expected salary $30,000–$40,000 per year, not including sales commission potential. Benefits and paid time off are available.

Springfield, IL. Must be able to work in Springfield for the duration of this project and travel throughout Central IL.
