Job Summary
Morris Technology Solutions (MTS) is seeking an experienced Service Now Solutions Architect to support a healthcare client in strengthening and maturing its existing Service Now platform. Rather than serving as a primary developer, this consultant will work alongside the client's internal Service Now team to provide technical leadership, recommend platform best practices, and help translate business use cases into scalable Service Now solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable Service Now solutions
- Provide guidance on Service Now architecture, platform design, governance, and implementation best practices
- Advise internal development teams on workflow design, Flow Designer, and overall platform capabilities
- Review existing Service Now processes and recommend opportunities for optimization, standardization, and automation
- Help define use cases and solution approaches before development begins
- Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing to Service Now developers and administrators
- Support ITSM process improvements including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Service Catalog Management
- Participate in solution design, platform roadmap discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business leaders to ensure Service Now solutions align with organizational goals
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Service Now solutions in enterprise environments
- Experience serving as a Service Now Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, Senior Consultant, or similar advisory role
- Strong understanding of Service Now platform architecture, Flow Designer, workflow configuration, and ITSM best practices
- Experience leading solution design discussions and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience mentoring development teams and providing technical guidance
- Strong knowledge of Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Service Catalog Management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams
- Ability to work independently while leading technical discussions and driving solution decisions
- Willingness to travel to the client site in Springfield, IL as needed to support workshops, planning sessions, team collaboration, and other project activities.
- Experience leading Service Now implementations or platform modernization initiatives
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with HR Service Delivery, Integration Hub, CMDB, or other Service Now modules
- Background in consulting or professional services supporting multiple client environments
- Experience establishing Service Now governance, standards, and platform best practices
- Experience working within large enterprise or multi team Service Now environments
- Experience facilitating workshops, gathering business requirements, and guiding technical solution discussions
