• Under general direction, serves as a Staff Specialist for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), performing highly complex technical functions relating to communications system design, analysis, provisioning, and trouble mitigation, including working with vendors, agencies, and other DoIT teams to provide administration and support for DoIT Telecom Enterprise Services.
• Prepares and maintains documentation on requests using appropriate reporting tools according to the established procedures and standards, including categorizing requests within the reporting system to verify accurate routing and reporting/analysis.
• Participates in the development, discussion, and implementation of vendor contracts, including monitoring contracts to validate up-to-date contracts are in place.
• Diagnoses problem sources and coordinates with internal organizational support, operations groups, and with vendors, including identifying problems cause and implementing appropriate corrections to resolve issues related to installations.
• Participates in the development of methods and procedures and training programs to improve skill levels of staff associated with the CSC products, services, and processes.
• Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field by continuing education through online training platforms, meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures.

• Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with major coursework in electronic engineering, radio/television, telecommunications, or data processing.
• Requires four (4) years of professional experience in communication systems designs.
