Job Description Position SummarySenior Information Security & Zero Trust Advisor (Functional Specialist
3) is a senior information security professional who evaluates complex federal enterprise environments and leads strategicimprovements in information protection, data security, privacy, identity andzero trust. Working with senior executives and hands-on technologypractitioners, this role converts mission and security objectives into practical recommendations and implementation approaches, with relevance to U.S.Air Force environments
- Enterpriseinformation security assessment and risk analysis
- Identity and Access Management strategy
- Zero Trust Network Access and zero trust architecture
- Privileged Access Management
- Informationprotection, data security and privacy
- Executivestakeholder engagement and strategic advisory
- Cleartechnical and nontechnical communication
- Federal and U.S. Air Force mission-environment awareness
- Dataanalytics and evidence-based decision-making
- Assess complex enterprise environments and identify information security risks,capability gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the design and advancement of information protection, data security, privacy and zero trust strategies.
- Contributesubject-matter expertise in Identity and Access Management, Zero Trust Network Access and Privileged Access Management.
- Engagesenior client executives and technical practitioners to develop actionable recommendations and implementation approaches.
- Communicate findings, priorities and recommendations clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Supportsecurity initiatives in U.S. Federal Government and U.S. Air Forceenvironments.
- Bachelor’sdegree in any field.
- Sevenyears of relevant functional experience. A master’s degree in a business ortechnical field may substitute for two years>
- Demonstrated experience analyzing enterprise environments from an information security perspective.
- Experience working with executive and technical stakeholders.
- Must possess a current Secret security clearance at the time of application.
- Clearanceeligibility must be verifiable through the applicable U.S. Government personnel security system.
- Must maintain Secret clearance eligibility throughout employment and comply with all security, access and reporting requirements associated with the role.
- CISSPcertification or another relevant certification, such as CCSP, CAP, CEH orCISA.
- Identity and Access Management experience.
- Zero Trust Network Access experience.
- Privileged Access Management experience.
- Experience supporting the United States Air Force.
